Golden trails

Volunteers create safer trails

The Golden Cycling Club hosted its first major volunteer day on Sunday, July 17, at the Moonraker Recreation Site. A section boardwalk collapsed last winter and it was decided to replace the entire 13 year old structure. This entire project was made possible largely through the assistance of Alpine Helicopters. The previous Sunday they flew in all the materials we required and we are extremely grateful to Don, Craig, and their support staff. The club would also like to thank Bernie and Pam Sander. The club expects to have another volunteer day early in August.
