Local never tasted this good. “Come and get it” at Kelowna Museums’ Grow Local Fall Fair!
The Grow Local Fall Fair is a celebration of the Okanagan’s orchard industry; in a most enticing way: fruit tasting, learning, live music, even some nutty games!
Sustainable food has long been a signature of the Okanagan, and increased awareness of both the importance and fun of our orchard industry is one of the key points of Grow Local.
Where else, for instance, can you get to both learn about grapes, and stomp on them?
“There’s really something for every palate, and we don’t mean just apples,” says Christina Neale, Programming Coordinator for Kelowna Museums. “We’ve got presentations and a diverse selection of music from the orchard cultures and others…”
