Since 2013, P&G has been a strong supporter of Habitat Canada donating over $1 million toward the homebuilding efforts of select Habitat Affiliates in Canada.
On Nov. 6-7 Habitat Vancouver Island North will celebrate this enduring partnership with the largest ReStore campaign in Habitat Canada’s history.
Swiffer has committed to donating $10 to Habitat for every ReStore purchase of $10 or more, up to a maximum of $200,000. Swiffer has directed this gift to be received as undesignated funds by Habitat and used to support homebuilding activities across the Country.
Swiffer has also developed a donated gift over $140,000 in Swiffer Starter Kits for the ReStore to give to each customer who spends $10 or more.
Additionally, Swiffer will be awarding three more prizes for the most innovative campaign.
Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North will be participating by organizing a Swiffer Toddler Contest on Saturday, Nov. 7 at the ReStore at 1725 Willow St, Campbell River.
Toddlers 18 months – 4 years can register to compete in a Wet Swiffer Mop Race. Toddlers will mop their way to the finish line with their parent’s encouragement.
Winners will receive a prize package plus their Wet Swiffer.

Habitat ReStores
To help fund the building of new homes Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North has two ReStores.
The ReStores are discount home improvement stores. One is located in Courtenay and one in Campbell River.
New and previously used building materials home furnishings and appliances are donated, by local businesses, and private donors.
They also harvest building materials and fixtures through salvage operations by removing them from homes that are being renovated or deconstructed.
The items are cleaned and tested before being made available for sale.
Making these items available at great prices, it enables families to repair and maintain their homes.
By recycling through the ReStores tons of usable materials are diverted from our landfills.
