Handlers graduate with their canine companions at Fall Fair Hall in Barriere

A great form of exercise to work with your dog on a daily training schedule

The most recent session of the Good Dog Obedience Classes held their graduation night last Sunday at the Fall Fair Hall in Barriere. Instructor Jill Hayward said she was very happy with the class and the amount of learning that the young dogs and their handlers absorbed in just six weeks. “Once you understand how a dog thinks, it is just a matter of learning the tools required to truly get the most out of your dog,” said Hayward, “It is also a great form of exercise to work with your dog on a daily training schedule, benefitting both the human and the canine equally.” Pictured (l-r): Heidi Schilling and Byerly, Rita Mosdell and Sadie, Lana Laskovic and Target, and Simone Machny and Oscar.
