The term ‘iPhoneography’ is the art of shooting and processing photos entirely within an Apple iPhone.

Over the course of this year, I will be using my iPhone 4S to capture images here in Chilliwack, and beyond. The photos will be of anything and everything including people, animals, nature, cityscapes, abstracts and more.

The iPhone has its advantages (small and discreet) and its disadvantages (a single built-in lens, and nearly everything is controlled automatically like the aperture and shutter speed).

I believe iPhoneography will be challenging, yet fun. Frustrating at times, but also incredibly convenient as I always carry my phone with me.

This is a chance for me to experiment with a new form of photography, and share with you what can be done using a simple camera phone.

Many of the images will never make it to our print editions, but they will be uploaded to our Flickr page on a regular basis of at least one photo per week.
