Jam Camp is all about families and music, learning and having fun.

Time is running out to register for the first Jam Camp in the Cariboo.

Located at historic Cottonwood House, July 17 – 21, Jam Camp is facilitated by professional musicians who will lead diverse workshops ranging from marimba and African djembe to Celtic fiddling and rock guitar. There will be small group instrument instruction, cultural education and group songwriting. Breaks in each day’s activities provide opportunities for participants to make crafts, play soccer or music, hike or enjoy the inspiring natural setting. During Camp evenings there will be skits, campfire singing, jamming and dancing. This will be a beautiful Northern summer musical adventure.

Jam Camp North is best for families with children aged five – 12 but families with teens as well as adults without children are certainly welcome. Workshops will cater to all levels of musical experience from beginner to advanced musicians of all ages.
