Lion’s club member Gary Pfeifer recently presented a cheque for $500 on the club’s behalf to the Barriere and District Hospice Society for their upcoming 12th Annual Walk-a-Thon.  Audrey Rilcoe (l) and Jane Milburn accepted the donation on behalf of the Hospice Society. The Walk is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 5. Walkers are encourage to gather at 6:30 p.m. at the Ridge in Barriere, with the Walk set to start out at 7 p.m. Anyone wishing to get a pledge sheet and participate in this Hospice fundraiser should call Marnie at 250-672-0301.
