Hope and the Fraser Canyon are home to a vast number of writers, poets, painters and musicians.

The works of our many local artists are featured in the Hope Art Walk Tour, which takes place annually May through September. Participating businesses have displays of art that can range from oil paintings and watercolours to ceramics, sculptures and photography. Art Walk Tour maps indicating spots of interest are available at the Hope Arts Gallery and Hope Visitor Centre & Museum Complex.

Throughout the year the Hope Arts Gallery has special monthly exhibits featuring many local and guest artists.

The chainsaw carvings that line our streets showcase the works of Hope carvers Pete Ryan and Randy Swope, plus a host of other internationally-renowned carvers.

Local celebrations often feature performances by many of our talented musicians. Memorial Park hosts the Hope Mountain Market on Saturdays from late May to September. The market features quality goods from local artisans, crafters, farmers, and a variety of small businesses. Enjoy the beautiful park setting and live acoustic music while you shop. On Sunday afternoons in July and August, the Concerts in the Park music series takes over the Memorial Park bandshell.
