Morels are one of the most desired wild mushrooms in the world. They are not farmed like most grocery store mushrooms, but gathered in the wild. Morels are very unique, with a meaty texture and an earthy and nutty flavour. This morel was one of a number found in a Louis Creek garden growing under trees where leaves from last fall remain.
