Organizers of the Mission City Farmer’s Market are hosting a Volunteer and Board Member Information Session to be held at the Mission Library (33247 2nd Ave.) on Feb. 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
According to the press release, being a volunteer for the market means meeting great people in your neighborhood, learning about the market and the importance of fresh local foods and most of all, having fun.
Being a board member offers opportunities for leadership, finance, marketing , public relations, social media and learning about your community.
