Thank you for the opportunity to show my appreciation to our Armed Forces.
The accompanying photograph shows my mom and dad. They were Margaret Patricia Shortridge and Walter James Bechtel.
They were in the Air Force from Prince Albert and Tompkins, Saskatchewan.
My mom was 18 years old when snuck in to be with my dad. He guarded downed aircraft, and was 20 years old.
Theresa Nadine Bechtel is a resident of 70 Mile House.
