A new dawn and a new day is bringing with it a new marketing concept to help sell houses in the Central Okanagan.

On Nov. 22, at 4 p.m., a ReMax Kelowna real estate team, Team Innovation, will try out a different approach of hosting a reserve auction for the sale of a luxury executive home at 371 Trumpeter Court.

Team Innovation has decided to shake up the industry by welcoming buyers into this home and allowing them take a shot at becoming the proud new homeowners in a nontraditional way.

This exciting event will have a live auctioneer to undertake the actual bidding as well as be sponsored with wine and cheese by a prestigious local vineyard, Volcanic Hills.

This home offers exquisite features throughout such as five bedrooms plus a den, four bathrooms, grand entrance, open concept, gourmet kitchen, two balconies, media room with an estimated value of $25,000 of equipment included, full wet bar and signature Trumpeter Ridge panoramic views from the Upper Mission.

If you are a potential buyer of this property with or without representation of a real estate agent, you can register  online at TeamInnovation.ca/auctions or call Team Innovation at 250-718-2527.

A due diligence package can also be provided with property details such as all documentation available from the City of Kelowna, Title, Property Disclosure Statement and a completed certified home inspection.

I was able to sit down with team leader Tyson Wokoeck, to discuss this new approach that he’s taking with marketing this executive home.

“I wanted to provide my clients with the service that allows them to achieve the highest value they can for their property,” said Wokoeck.

“I once asked myself how I can standout amongst the rest of my esteemed real estate colleagues in the valley, which is how Team Innovation was established.

“It’s quite simple really. I wanted to find ways to step aside from the traditional ways of marketing and offer a unique service that gets the job done and results in my clients feeling happy and confident that they achieved their financial goal when buying or selling property.”

While the auction is open to the public, due to security reasons all parties are required to register online or call Team Innovation to obtain their free VIP ticket.

Perhaps the traditional ways of advertising are starting to fade away in favour of new marketing approaches, such as lavish auctions or the long forgotten way of simply door knocking. Real estate agents may have to start stepping outside the box for creative new ways to market properties.
