Located next to the heart of downtown, the Nakusp Public Beach (click here for Flickr photos) is the perfect place to park and begin your exploration of Nakusp. The sandy beach has a boom area with a floating dock. There are free public washrooms and a free public skatepark across the street suitable for beginner to intermediate level skaters and bikers. Tennis courts and a children’s playground are located right nearby in the park. Located near the intersection of Broadway and 8th Ave. in downtown Nakusp.
