There is a need in the community for more volunteers enrolled in the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program. These volunteers donate their time and energy to assist eligible (in our case) seniors by preparing their tax returns. There is telephone support for these volunteers to successfully file returns online for their clients. Low income seniors cannot receive their benefits if they have not filed their income tax returns. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please call Donna at 250-627-1900 for more info.
Coming Up: Sunday, April 6 is a pancake breakfast from 10 a.m. to noon. The general meeting is Tuesday, April 8 at 10 a.m. and foot care will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9.
