Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary Grade 9 students Noor Brar (left) and Taylor Derrien recently showed off the project they completed for their Service Learning Project for their social studies class. The project, titled ‘Showing gratitude to our heroes,’ raised funds and awareness for U.S. and Canadian soldiers overseas.
The money benefitted the George Derby centre, Mainland Military Family Resources Centre and Veterans Affairs.
