Katie’s Place is again hosting Pet Photos With Santa, at Bosley’s in Maple Ridge, on Sunday, Nov. 22 and Dec. 6.
The event is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
It serves an annual fundraiser for the local animal shelter, and has become a popular and entertaining event over the years.
“We love to see our alumni, and all other pets in our community. It’s a great way for the pet owners in the community to get to know one another, and a fantastic way to help the animals that do not have a home of their own this holiday season.”
Everything for the event is donated, and all money raised goes directly to the animals.
The event is held at Bosley’s pet store, which donates the space and goodie bags for your pet.
The photographer and Santa donate their time, and Katie’s Place volunteers do everything in their power to make sure that you and your pet have a memorable time.
Santa welcomes everyone onto his lap.
“Over the years we’ve had dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, birds, spiders, horses and many others. Santa, the photographer, Bosley’s staff, and our volunteers believe that all pets are family and no one will be turned away. We can make it work for any pet.”
Although Santa has banned horses from his lap.
This is one of the shelter’s most successful fundraisers. It helps feed the animals, provide them with medical care, and house them while they await their forever home.
“For some, we are the forever home they never had, and your generosity allows this to happen.”
So please come out on Nov. 22 and Dec. 6 and get a beautiful keepsake of your pet, and a reminder that your kindness helped a homeless animal in our community.
