Meet Piggy Smallz.
She’s an eight-month-old Juliana or Mini Pig and the household pet of Shaelynn Kunka, a nail technician in Williams Lake.
“She lives in the house with me,” Kunka told the Tribune Saturday at Eagle View Equestrian Centre where she was competing in a BCBRA barrel racing event.
“She’s high maintenance — I call her my spa piggy, brilliant but stubborn.”
Piggy Smallz was just over two pounds when Kunka got her in September from a friend of a friend in Alberta.
“I could hold her in my hand,” she said.
With a diet of fruit, vegetables and specially formulated mini pig food Beaver Valley Feeds brings in, Kunka’s pig is thriving and will grow to be a bit bigger.
“There are a couple of these pigs in Williams Lake,” Kunka said.
