Indulge in a crab dinner this weekend for a good cause.
The Rotary Club of Parksville AM is bringing back Crab Fest after a three year hiatus, offering crab dinner “directly from the fisherman” at a reasonable price.
The buffet crab dinner comes with coleslaw, baked potato, buns and dessert, and refreshments, beer and wine will be available.
The proceeds will go toward a major local project that Rotarians have yet to reveal, as well as their usual support to causes like funding international students, shelter boxes, coats for kids, the local Building Learning Together (BLT) program, and more.
Crab Fest starts at 4:30 p.m.on Saturday, Sept.8 at the Parksville Community and Conference Centre, with the last dinner being served at 7:30 and the event closing at 9 p.m. Tickets are $25 from Marlin Travel and Close To You in Parksville, and Mulberry Bush book stores, or from Parksville AM Rotarians.
