Quilting up a raffle

Quilting up a raffle  The ladies of the Barriere Quilting Club have been busy creating the above quilt to be offered as the first prize in a raffle that is raising funds to go towards a Barriere Secondary Student Bursary.  Second prize is an afghan and a table runner, and third prize is a cordless screwdriver set donated by Barriere Auto Parts.  All tickets must be sold by May 5, with the draw taking place on May 12, 4 p.m., at the Barriere Food Bank.  Tickets can be purchased at the North Thompson Star/Journal and from Barriere Quilting Club members.  Pictured are:  Shril Giesbrecht, Marian Coltman, and Sheila Bains.
