Rangers camp out in Clearwater

Young people from rural communities enjoy Clearwater's outdoor lifestyle

Junior Canadian Rangers get ready to go whitewater rafting on the Clearwater River last Wednesday. A total of 63 Junior Rangers plus 13 adult volunteers, Canadian Rangers and reservists spent several days in Clearwater, hiking, canoeing and rafting, and slept in tents at the KOA. They came from Port Hardy, Port McNeill, Alert Bay, Ucluelet, Hudson Hope, Tumbler Ridge, Pouce Coupe and Dawson Creek.
