As we get closer and closer to the 15th Annual Quesnel Relay for Life, activities and events are shaping up.
Organizers have confirmed the first annual Relay for Life Walk/Run/Stroll event, May 27, 5 – 11 p.m. beginning in Baker Creek Park at 6 p.m. after the opening ceremonies. Registration and a donation of $20 may be made at the Academy of Nail Technology in the West Village. The run is along the West Village River walk loop.

The date for the teams’ Bank Night is May 19, 5 – 8 p.m. at the Canadian Cancer Society office in South Quesnel. This is the time for teams to turn over their fundraising money.
Remember the deadline for team registration is May 13 and can be done online www.relayforlife.ca/Quesnel.
Soon it will be time to purchase your luminary in honour of a loved one lost to cancer. Relay chair Deb Burton will be selling luminaries, still only $5 each, April 8, 4 – 8 p.m. and April 9, 2 – 6 p.m. at the downtown Liquour Store. Luminaries may also be purchased at the CCS office 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Monday to Friday.
