Beach volleyball is one popular event at the Summer Sizzler event which took place over this past long weekend.
The slo pitch games were continual, with playoffs taking place on the BC Day holiday Monday. Two ball diamonds kept the action going throughout the weekend, a tradition during the Sizzler weekend.
Keeping cool with a beverage in the beer gardens, or for the younger crowd enjoying the many planned activities nearby, there was something for everyone to be entertained.
Of course the fine sandy beach is always an attraction at Seymour Arm, a destination for many houseboaters visiting the area.
With high temperatures in the 30s, the weather was perfect for the fun filled weekend, deemed a big success, even though crowds seemed a little thin compared to previous years.
