Second prize drawn in this year’s Wells Gray World Heritage treasure hunt

The winner, Karin Haterkorn of Hamburg, Germany, gets her choice of six paintings

Below: (L-r) Tim Pennell and Trevor Goward watch as Upper Clearwater artist Doris Laner draws for the second prize in this year’s Wells Gray World Heritage treasure hunt. The winner, Karin Haterkorn of Hamburg, Germany, gets her choice of six paintings by Laner of Wells Gray Park (including the one of Helmcken Falls held by Pennell) or a cash prize. Although the treasure hunt is now over, the two booklets written by Trevor Goward and Cathie Hickson on the natural history and geology of the park contain a good deal of interesting information and are still available at the Wells Gray Infocentre.
