A Senior Connector is available at Kent Street the first Wednesday of each month to provide information about housing options, medical support, government assistance and abuse awareness for seniors and their caregivers.

Local lawyer Al Benson will also be available in the morning to help low-income seniors with legal queries and problems.

Tickets are now on sale for the iconic RCMP Musical Ride scheduled for July 26 at Semiahmoo Park in White Rock.

The ride represents a colourful Canadian tradition which began in 1876; the troop of 32 horses and riders will perform a variety of cavalry drills choreographed to music. Tickets for the event will be available online through Surrey Arts Centre at https://tickets.surrey.ca as well as at the White Rock Community Centre, Centennial Arena and Kent Street Activity Centre.
