White Rock Recreation and Culture’s spring registration will open for members on Friday, March 6 at 8:30 a.m. (online opens at 7 a.m.), and non-member registration starts on Tuesday, March 17.

If you can’t view the guide online, come down to the Kent Street Activity Centre, White Rock Community Centre or Centennial Park Leisure Centre to pick up your copy.

• If you are over 65 and need assistance with completing your income-tax returns, community volunteers are available to help file your tax returns electronically.
This free service is provided to seniors on low income with simple forms. Just drop off your forms at the Kent Street front desk to be E-filed.
Returns that do not meet the criteria will be returned unfiled.
If you would prefer to mail your tax return instead of having our volunteers E-file, we have limited one-on-one appointments available on Wednesdays.

• It is not too late to sign up for the next free fraud-awareness workshop, Identity Theft and Identity Frauds, on March 24, 9-11 a.m. at White Rock Community Centre.
Learn how to protect yourself from payment-card, telephone and email frauds.
The interactive session will focus on generic examples of different types of frauds with specific things you can do to reduce the chances of becoming a victim.

• The Kent Street auditorium is open Wednesday evenings from 7:30-10:30 p.m. for all those 50+ who enjoy live music, friendly people and social dancing.
