SENIORS SCENE: Love abounds at Kent Street

Activities to warm and work the heart are among the options at the Kent Street Activity Centre.

Warm up the cold damp days with ukulele lessons this winter.

We are offering beginner and intermediate group lessons at the White Rock Community Centre starting Feb. 23.

It is a great way to see some beautiful sights, and keep your cardio fitness strong.

Join us on our Cross Country Ski trip Feb. 25. Bring your own skis or rent at the slopes.

• Snowshoeing is another great sport that allows one to enjoy beautiful wintery landscapes.

We have a trip heading out Feb. 26.

Our experienced leader will guide you on a trek through backcountry trails. Van transportation is provided.

• Visit one of the most interesting and eclectic streets in Vancouver with guide Joy Brown (a favourite of many) on our Vancouver Main Street Adventure day trip.

Main Street is a lively neighborhood full of independent and local shops, special food stores, great restaurants, antiques and young designers.
