Pull up a chair and join Maggie Rodgers for an informative travel presentation on Poland and Auschwitz on Thursday, March 19 at 1:30 p.m. at the White Rock Community Centre.

An iPhone for Beginners course will be held 7-9 p.m., Tuesday March 24.

Included will be learning how to change settings, checking for emails, how to send and receive them, how to send and receive text messages and how to take photos and videos, install apps and update them.

The iPhone and iPad have great cameras but don’t work like regular cameras.

Learn how to take good photos and videos in the iPhone/iPad Photography course held on Saturday, March 31, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at White Rock Community Centre.

In this class you will learn to spot focus, adjust lighting and flash settings, use filters and take photos in difficult lighting conditions. To register call 604-541-2199.

The Kent Street auditorium is open Wednesday evenings, 7:30-10:30 p.m., for all those 50-plus who enjoy live music, friendly people and social dancing.

This Wednesday’s live band is the popular Good Vibrations.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets are available at the door.
