Whether you’re looking for a new outfit or a leather couch, you’ll be able to find the perfect item to match your budget. The variety of stores in Abbotsford is vast, ranging from high-end fashion shops to a weekly flea market.
Specialty Shops
Abbotsford has plenty of stand-alone stores carrying the latest trends and specialty fashions that locals have come to expect. Many of them are located in the downtown area and along South Fraser Way. From swimwear to prom gowns, you’ll be able to find something to suit your occasion.
Shopping Malls
With more than 100 stores, Sevenoaks Shopping Centre continues to pull in the crowds. West Oaks Mall and Abbotsford Power Centre are the largest outdoor malls. All three have the perfect mix of big-name stores and local boutiques.
New Stores
Abbotsford’s line-up of big-box stores was lengthened last year with Best Buy. The city also recently opened Parallel Marketplace in east Abbotsford. The first phase is home to Thrifty Foods, Whatcom Wine and Spirits, BMO Bank of Montreal and Ellwood Park Animal Hospital, to name a few. Construction is currently underway for a new mall at Mt. Lehman.
Flea Market
If you fancy yourself a bargain hunter, head to the Sunday flea market at Exhibition Park. The indoor/outdoor market is open from 6 a.m.-4 p.m. year round.
