They may have a little age on them, but these nine Ford pickup trucks on a frontage road next to Highway 5, between Birch Island and Vavenby, have come through another winter. There is a lot of history sitting here, and more than a wealth of stories to tell. But for now, the pickups are content to stand as silent sentinels while the seasons come and go.
