GEMs AND MINERALS
The B.C. Gem and Mineral Show takes place April 12-14 at the Ag-Rec Building at Abbotsford Exhibition Park (32470 Haida Drive). DANCE AT LEGION
The Abbotsford branch of the Royal Canadian Legion (2513 West Railway) holds a dinner and dance on Friday, April 12. A dinner of ham, scalloped potatoes, veggies and a bun is $10, and is served starting at 6 p.m. Dancing is from 7 to 11 p.m. with music from Wylie and the Other Guy. COMPUTER CLASSES
Registration takes place Monday, April 15 from 11 a.m. to noon at 2531 Cyril St. for the next set of computer classes offered by the Abbotsford Social Activity Association. Classes begin the following day, and are held every Tuesday and Thursday for three weeks. Beginners meet at noon and intermediates at 2 p.m. Cost is $60.
