Chilliwack's NWO Roller Girls (in white) hold back a jammer (left) from Vancouver's Terminal City Rollergirls during Day of Derby in celebration of Sports Day in Canada at the Landing Sports Centre on Nov. 29, 2014. The event drew 250 skaters from B.C. and Washington State. With 14 teams, including two junior derby teams and a handful of co-ed teams, it was the largest event they're ever organized. The 12-hour event included three 30-minute games per team, open scrimmages, plus a high-jump, long-jump, and limbo competition.
