In June, Sardis secondary’s 2012 grad class had its commencement ceremony in Chilliwack. Everyone wore the same thing: a black gown and a black mortarboard.
But their footwear was a different story.
From fluorescent pink stilettos, to old skate shoes, to cowboys boots, they had it all.
And because the only thing that’s different about high school grads’ outfits on commencement day is their footwear, it was the shoes that spoke for each graduate’s personality.
