Lots to do this summer at the Barriere Library.

Lots to do this summer at the Barriere Library.

This years theme is ‘savour each word’ and that’s exactly what these kids are doing.  Seven-teen kids ages four to 12 along with three older students who have volunteered to help out are currently participating in the program. The program runs from July 5 until Aug. 19.  The participants enjoy craft sessions, fun quizzes, prizes, ribbons and of course, reading.  Younger aged children from four to six years, can join the Read to Me program which is also began July 5 and continues until Aug. 27.  For more information call your local library at 250-672-5811.
