Vernon Local fundraising coordinator, Donna Demarais, SOBC bowling co-head coach accept a $1,000 donation to Special Olympics presented by Wilf Courtemanche, on behalf of the Enderby Lions Club. The donation will be used to assist the Special Olympics bowling program, held Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Lincoln Lanes in Vernon until late April. Courtemanche’s son Ryan is an accomplished Special Olympics athlete.
