Garden tour guests can visit this Fernwood garden started from scratch just last spring.

Venture into some of the region’s loveliest – but smallest – gardens this Sunday, to support Victoria Hospice.

Organizers expect another sold-out event for the 11th annual Victoria Hospice Teeny Tiny Garden Tour, June 12.

This year’s tour showcases 11 gardens clustered in four neighbourhoods: Fernwood, Maplewood, Cedar Hill and Broadmead. They range from the truly tiny to urban farms; rocky landscapes featuring mature rhododendrons and Garry oaks to Asian-inspired water oases; even a hosta garden with more than 200 varieties.

The self-guided tour runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ticket holders receive a map, brochure and entry to win wonderful draw prizes. Tickets are $25 and available from Thrifty Foods, Capital Iron, Dig This, Mayfair Shopping Centre concierge desk and Victoria Hospice, fourth floor, Richmond Pavilion, 1952 Bay St. For details, visit victoriahospice.org.
