An all day fundraiser to raise money for Tour de Rock included an Ocean Idlers Car show at Thalassa Restaurant on Saturday. The show drew 75 cars and raised $3,000 for the cause. Car club president Clay Thompson said it went well with lots of public support and donations.

The club matched public donations and 50-50 tickets sales as well as used money from a car show in Coombs earlier this summer to come up with the money.
