Forecast for early in the week indicates that winter is not quite over

WEATHER: Flurries and/or rain showers

Winter is not over yet, with a few flurries in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday, according to Environment Canada.

Flurries are expected to begin Monday morning, with flurries or rain showers in the afternoon.

Total accumulations should be around two centimetres, with temperatures reaching a high of plus 2.

There is a 30 per cent chance of flurries or rains showers this evening, with a low of minus 2.

The forecast for tomorrow (Tuesday) calls for a 40 per cent chance of flurries or rain showers, changing to just rain in the afternoon.

The remainder of the week calls for mostly rain, with another chance of snow on Saturday evening.

Temperatures starting Wednesday and throughout the week are expected to reach highs of between seven and 10 degrees.
