100 year old woman in hospital after being hit by car

Alcohol and speed are not considered to be factors in the collision this afternoon (March 31)

A 100-year-old woman went to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in a parking lot at the corner of Fort Street and Foul Bay Road this afternoon.

When officers arrived around 3:45 p.m. they found BC Ambulance paramedics treating the victim.

Alcohol and speed are not considered to be factors in the collision and the driver of the vehicle remained on scene. The centenarian was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The VicPD CRASH team continues to investigate this collision.
