As of Aug. 1 (B.C. Day), the Game Warden’s Cabin, which was rescued from Stobie Lake near the Gang Ranch this past spring, is now officially part of the 108 Heritage Site located at the north end of 108 Lake.

The Warden’s Cabin was built 75 years ago. Now is the time to visit a piece of British Columbia history.

Remember, some of us were born before 1941 when the cabin was built by hand (myself included).

One Church Gathering

The Cariboo Life Fellowship is hosting a One Church gathering on Sunday (Aug. 14) at 10 a.m. at the north end of the Save-On-Foods parking lot.

Everyone is invited to attend, including all of the 100 Mile House churches.

Bring a lawn chair and be weather wise, as we may need sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, or an umbrella and an extra coat.

Parking is sometimes a problem so you are advised to park in the Elementary School parking areas and walk to the Gathering.

Mark this date on your calendar; we look forward to seeing you there.

Food needed

Loaves & Fishes Outreach needs our help as it is running short of canned protein foods.

If you are going to be attending the One Church Gathering, could you please bring some cans of food for the collection boxes that will be available.

If you are not attending, please drop your donations off at Loaves & Fishes at 550 Exeter Truck Rd. (beside Bethel Pentecostal Church) in 100 Mile House.
