Event at LEC to raise funds for Valley Therapeutic Equestrian Association in Aldergrove

The weather forecast for the second annual Hot Rod Sunday in Langley is warm with a mix of sun and cloud.

The British Columbia Hot Rod Association (BCHRA) sponsored event will be held this Sunday (July 17) at the Langley Events Centre at 200 Street and 80 Avenue.

There will be up to 200 hot rods, vintage, classic, and custom cars and trucks showcased at the free public event which includes a 50/50 raffle, door prize draws, food and automotive-related vendor sales.

Participants will pay a $15 registration fee.

Vehicles and owners will register from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. then the exhibition will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Revenue from the show will benefit the Valley Therapeutic Equestrian Association (VTEA) in Aldergrove.

VTEA is a registered volunteer-based charity that provides therapeutic horseback riding for children and adults of varying abilities.
