It was a display of colour at Spirit Square on Saturday.

The rainbow flag flying above the square, rainbow banners fluttering in the breeze and a rainbow-painted crosswalk across from the Cenotaph brightened up what was a grey and cloudy afternoon during Campbell River’s Pride Festival.

The event celebrated diversity, individuality and inclusion and included vendors, entertainment and food. The day wrapped up with the Queens, Kings and Things drag talent show at the Tidemark Theatre Saturday evening.
