A Welcome To Spring

A Sparwood Senior Shares Her Love Of Spring And Poetry

Spring turns things from brown to green,

Uncovering all the snow covered things,

The sun shines a little more bright,

Days last longer than the night,

First flowers begin to sprout,

When the geese fly back there is no doubt,

Flowers, buds, new shoots and starts,

Love’s in the air turning hearts,

Say goodbye to winters chill,

Growing herbs in the windowsill,

Sunshine sees smiles all around,

Melting snow showing ground,

Babies areĀ  born as spring is near,

Chirping birds, all ears can hear,

Raindrops plenty fall from the sky,

Making things grow way up high,

Spring is a season of all anew,

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. –Submitted
