The Williams Lake RCMP are requesting assistance from the public regarding a burned-out vehicle found abandoned on Bond Lake Road near the B.C. SPCA on Friday, Sept. 2.
At about 10:18 p.m., a member of the Williams Lake RCMP detachment was on patrol on Bond Lake Road and discovered a burned-out, four-door sedan left on the side of the road.
Police say it appears that the car was driven to the location and set on fire.
Fortunately, the heavily wooded area immediately surrounding the car did not catch on fire.
Police say this is the second incident of similar nature occurring in this area.
