Abbotsford pharmacy robbed at gunpoint

The Abbotsford Police are searching for a man who robbed a pharmacy at gunpoint.

On Aug. 23 at 4:10 p.m. a man with his face covered entered a pharmacy in the 30400 block of Blueridge Drive. He approached the pharmacy staff, displayed a firearm and robbed the pharmacy of a variety of narcotics.

The man fled to Blueridge Drive, where he entered the passenger side of a parked vehicle. The vehicle then drove northbound on Mt. Lehman Road.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male with a medium height and build. He was wearing a grey hoodie with the hood up, a white bandana covering his face, blue jeans and white and black running shoes.

The vehicle is described as a maroon-coloured passenger car.

Surveillance video has been obtained. The Abbotsford Police Department is requesting the assistance of the general public with the identification of the persons and vehicle involved in the incident.
