Abbotsford: The week in pictures Feb. 4-10

Cheer Fest was held over the weekend at the Abbotsford Sports and Entertainment Centre, attracting more than 1,300 athletes from across B.C., Alberta and the U.S.

Early in the week, the Abbotsford Police Department released composite sketches of two suspects wanted for the sexual assault of a 19-year-old girl, and helped in the seven-hour search for a missing man.

Jarrod Bacon and Wayne Scott were convicted of conspiracy to traffic cocaine.

In other news, UFV opened a new site at Clearbrook Library, while the Lingerie Football League announced that Abbotsford had been granted its own franchise.
