Organizers of the Access Goes Disco fundraiser are seeking item donations for the event’s live auction.

Presented by the Penticton and Area Access Society, the fundraiser takes place on Nov. 22 at the Barking Parrot. Organizers say they are also searching for general sponsors for the event.

Tickets are $30 each and include a burger and beer. The event features a live DJ, disco lessons and a dance performance by Army of Sass Penticton, as well as costume and dance contests.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with dancing kicking off at 8 p.m. Proceeds from the event will go to the Penticton and Area Access Centre.

Anyone interested in donating items or sponsoring the Access Goes Disco fundraiser is asked to contact director@accesscentre.org. For more information about Access Goes Disco or to purchase tickets, visit the event’s Facebook page.
