Power has been restored to a majority of customers but there are still 811 affected.
Those affected are west of Wallace Road, east of Grey Canal Road and north of Dixon Dam Road. Power is expected to be restored by 4 p.m.

A motor vehicle accident has caused a power outage for more than 2,000 BX area residents.
The power was cut off at approximately 11:30 a.m. and is expected to be restored by 1:30.
Vernon firefighters are on scene at the accident, where a power pole was struck at the corner of Star Road and Silver Star Road.
Home affected by the outage include those north of BX Road, west of Tillicum Road and east of Old Kamloops Road.
