A vehicle landed in a field after hitting a light standard Wednesday afternoon.
The single-vehicle accident took place shortly before 3 p.m. on Highway 6 between Vernon and Lumby near Coldstream Ranch.
The driver of the vehicle had to be extracted, while the passenger was able to walk away. The occupants are beleived to be senior in age.
