Following a night of heavy snow, slippery roads, stuck vehicles and fender benders, another accident occurred Saturday morning in Salmon Arm.
A transport truck and a Salmon Arm Transit bus collided at the intersection of Shuswap Street and the Trans-Canada Highway around 9 a.m. Dec. 24.
Firefighters were on scene to help deal with a spill of oil.
Although the highway was temporarily blocked, the intersection was cleared before 10 a.m. Salmon Arm RCMP are investigating.
Initial reports are that no one was injured.
The Environment Canada forecast for today in Salmon Arm is mainly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of flurries, with the temperature hovering around minus 2. Flurries are also expected tonight, with a low of minus 6.
No snow on the way for Christmas Day, but flurries are predicted to resume on Boxing Day.
