Members of the Tri-Conic Challenge promotional team are in Vancouver this weekend, pitching the three-day event to runners participating in the BMO Vancouver Marathon.
The Tri-Conic Challenge will kick off July 1 with the ‘race the train’ leg, followed by a cycling race against the MV Frances Barkley to Bamfield on July 2, and a swim in Sproat Lake—home of the Martin Mars waterbomber—on July 3.
The event is drawing a lot of interest from outside of town, according to organizers.
